Talk on “Can India and Pakistan Coexist as Peaceful Neighbors?”

spirevent120220242The School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) had the privilege of hosting Professor Dr. Christopher Clary, Assistant Professor at the SUNY – The State University of New York  for an enlightening talk on “Can India and Pakistan Coexist as Peaceful Neighbors?”

In his thought-provoking address, Dr. Clary underscored the significance of sustained dialogue and negotiation in alleviating tensions between the two nations. He delved into the core drivers of conflict and highlighted the strategic role of the United States in the region.

The session was formally inaugurated by Professor Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and skillfully moderated by Dr. Farhan Hanif Siddiqui, Associate Professor at SPIR. Esteemed faculty members and an enthusiastic audience of students actively participated in the event, making it a vibrant platform for academic exchange.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Director of the School of Politics and International Relations, Dr. Muhammad Nadeem Mirza leaving the attendees with much to reflect on.
